The most respectable and outstanding outpost TMR re-posted the last 'seed'. Can't help but receive encouragement. While spluttering to get going, aware of potential readers, up's self-consciousness.
Here's the layout. To write about... requires, right-living, at least to the degree and about all it takes in:
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.
About ALL it takes.
What's crazy-legs about Christianity is the explanation from God and -- Grace. The darndest thing. Be easy if it were a few snappy rules to make or break. On -or- off, with God? In or out. Make the marks and tick the boxes.
Instead, it's move closer, or pull back and withdraw. Open up or shut down. Take interest in the 'things of God' or have our heads, near always, in... other things.
Not opening the Bible and talking with/to God, doesn't tend to bring the world collapsing in around. We... carry on, not hearing alarms. Knowing God the patient and persistent lover keeps on keeping on. Aka 'grace'.
Be on this and -- go off? A low-level thud distresses and gnaws. Is it God and conviction? Could be, although the re-adjustment has outworkings. Less well and ease with, what should be the situation. More self-self-self and signs untoward.
Not much recent posting is all about my ragged ways. The verse quoted above is me flicking open someone's Bible in the wee hours. Hitting on the first seen-verse and exclaiming "must write on this". Forced. Out of barren ways. Kicking myself into. Not fresh expressions.
Now the force is on. Here for thirty mins. This why the self-con. Keeping up appearances, vs. say what, out of relative decent, live-revelation living. Out of the word open, a good deal of the time.
Sometimes into, when out. OR: Off all else. One hour is a mega move. 30 mins or 15 is something. And as written; Write a vision, and explain on the tables, That he may run who is reading it.
On the run. Read on the run. Mediate about, on the... and, this in praying.
Check what Wigglesworth (a Pentecostal Pioneer) was into. “I never pray for more than 15 minutes at a time, but I never go more than 15 minutes without praying.” Not my way and if we read about women or men of old, they clocked the minutes. Still, Smith (Wigglesworth) was living with only one schedule and expectation.
To; Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons.
Years back the evangelical scene got right into anti-legalism and right-on at that. But the counter anti-time-matters is the cop ye out and crash out of best living. Once told we should have daily 'quiet times'. This became out of vogue and considered old-time religion, not new day renewal.
Whatever works and getting guilted-up is no good for us. YET, it's All about living in, not else. Our minds puzzling, prodding and provoking around and about these words. Getting this in us and this... 'reading us'. The reaction can be God responding. We see what's what, through this. Albeit instinctive and deep inside.
A relationship built on texts and the outcome only manifest in the eating and drinking this. Not dead words but Alive interaction. The claim is clear. 'These' words are LIFE.
What did Joni sing; 'I could drink a case of you'. How romance is all hot and understandable. Get on God and we somehow lose the love and light. Spark and zip. Passion and power.
The message here: 'Running' goes with our commitment to busy living. Here and there, this and that.
Real simple: We carry a sword and take it out as much as. Sit with. Stare, find, struggle, get bored off and all seems cold and distance. Can be? BUT: We press on and this self-con overdone lifts and relieved.
We live in Christ. Know this.
