I am my readership and these words, actions of faith.
Fruit of failure. How everything God would've helped me toward, over decades, spurned, wasted – never even got close to rejecting, too busy messing up, barely perceiving the offers. Fooled by the things of this world again and again and…
“What a waste” – not quite the jolly Ian Dury song but grace upon grace. Should be in the gutter or gone by now. Yet, those who've done what 'I should have' more-so, much more – multitudes not so wagged out in personally social irresponsibility but paradoxically oblivious to truth about the world. Doing their best to deny the building state of a prison we live in. Literal, like.
Get all existential sure, and, “so we all die and…” But the children. This alone is God-cause enough. They are not, for mass slavery or sacrifice. They are for God, and with us, rescuing from opposing plans. For future opportunity to receive and know, love from, their Parent of parents.
Take m'hat off to ones who do their 'doing something' without a Biblical-based faith. Found motives and, inadvertently or otherwise, find God-image-of within – And that Christians stay off the communication front-line shows the religiosity…
(Moving away from stated goals: What might God be saying? Say this.)
Write/design this particularly unpopular website. Lends itself to easy freedom to proclaim like prayer. Ignored is a blessing. And failing in this world, blessed. Reactions, right siding me into the mystery, that reveals God's self. Puzzled why I got to gravitate to the 21Wire-types online and if ever would, in person.
And obsessive obsession about The Loving One. Equals; faith and prayer. What does this achieve?
The only place to be: Could be 'catalyst that sparks the revolution'. All can – much like.
Broadcasting sense, standing with the protest and resistance and overturning the poverty-makers and… all this because: Failed. Sufficiently so. Hard to have quite the cosy pride of achievement. And this leads me to m'word:
Being 'needy' is a fair description of some peeps. Describes, not the extent of troubles per se but the grab-on-to one and all, always wanting something. In well-off-ish UK etc, it's the lowest look with ones more smart suited and swish crowd. Basking in their perceived escape. Translates into a radical disassociation. Disconnection, an ongoing subtle thrill. I-don't-need: You. This gets all so many of us. So very much and often. Growing in the new world order ways-ahead.
To repeat: Don't-Need-You is a dis-ease, going epidemic a scourge, poison. From the dark side.
Famous early church talk was 'no need' because of community built with God and promises alive in the midst. Today, this has been re-appropriated as; 'Family and chosen or historically gathered love-them ones'. Not the Jesus army.
The word? The word:
We don't have because we don't ask. Lack of need. Paradoxically we don't have much, because we don't need enough. Only in circumstances and mode, whereby truly ongoing and desperately, Need-God, do we receive the most and meanigfully matters.
Be sure, days are, not so much coming, but inch by inch upon us. Arriving, shake the masses and all, out of reckoned like-on-T.V. success. Most challenging and needy cometh.
Here I am/here now, without the cold wind and belly empty but the One thing that'll be better than has been in the crashes coming down the pipe: More needy, more to receive by God's hand upon.
Overturning 'the troubles' to the extent few are aware is what's in the balance. God's fight.
Did today's graphic out of yesterday's reading. Couldn't face to type. Today same song, trying to explain:
God seems to only, or mostly, get directly involved and engage with us, if needs are most pronounced and in faith madly reach out. A hunger found in the fast. Through emptiness needs. Feed. My will to.
